The Land of Excalichantia VBS 2008
Welcome to The Land of Excalichantia, a weeklong summer camp adventure for kids entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall. Kids will embark on an incredible journey where they’ll experience live music from Jana Alayra, drama, crafts, games, water day and of course amazing Bible stories! A fun opportunity for kids to invite friends and make new ones.

What is VBS?
Vacation Bible School is a five day event held every summer at Mariners Church. Our goal is simple: to help kids understand God just a little bit better. This year’s theme, “The Land of Excalichantia†is based on the Bible verse “Seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to takeâ€. (Proverbs 3:6). Kids will learn that God has a purpose for each of us and that we can trust Him with our lives.
VBS is filled with live music, stories kids will relate to, wild games, snacks, crafts and a little water thrown in just to keep things interesting! Kids get to hang with their friends and make a whole bunch of new ones along the way. Most of all, they get to have a blast learning about a great God.

VBS in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana
This year we are taking The Land of Excalichantia VBS to children in the local area. On Monday, July 7 through Thursday, July 10, we will be having VBS at the Costa Mesa Motor Inn from 10:30am-1:30pm. This will be in coordination with Miracles in Motion. On Monday, July 28 through Thursday July 31, we will be having VBS at the Wilshire Community Center in Santa Ana from 9:30am-1pm. This will be in coordination with Mariners Church Lighthouse Ministries. There are several fun and rewarding ways to get involved. For volunteer opportunities and training contact Cheryl Howard at 949.854.7030, x369.
